Tips : Tooth Fairy Tips

Losing that first tooth can be scary, but the anticipation of the Tooth Fairy's arrival can make it seem a little less so.  For first born children this can be a very magical time, they haven't yet been told by older siblings that "there is no tooth fairy."  Imagine such an outrageous fib!  For second and subsequent children, adding a little magic to the event can sometimes cause them to question their own opinions on this matter.

Of course having the perfect receptacle for that tiny tooth is very important.  This does not have to be some fancy store-bought container (although there are some adorable ones out there).  Sometimes decorating a little box with markers and stickers is much more special.

If your family's tradition involves leaving money under the pillow, your child would be most excited to find a gold dollar coin upon waking.  Ask at your local bank (although I most commonly find these coins at the Post Office stamp vending machines).

Now here comes the magical part.  You won't believe your child's reaction when they wake up to not only find a surprise under their pillow,  but actual fairy dust on their bed  and sprinkled around their room and maybe even some in their hair!  This special, magical fairy dust (aka glitter) seems to be all the proof your little one will need to assure them that the tooth fairy was actually there.  After all, where else could the fairy dust have come from!
