Thank you! I am using this technique for a movable clothes line, since shadows in my yard change so much from season to season. I wondered if I needed to use any re-rod, but it sounds like it is simple to do.

Hello, I read your excellent suggestion. Wondering if you have ever run across the tetherball being too heavy for your kids? The ball that came with the set is heavy for my 11 yr. boy to punch. Any suggestions? I'm surfing the net looking for a lighter weight ball. - Lisa
