Pink eye is one of those illnesses that kids seem to get time and time again. It isn't a big deal, except for one small problem... actually getting the eye drops your doctor has prescribed into your child's eyes.
Here is a foolproof way to get those necessary drops into your child's eyes with a minimum of chasing, crying and stalling. It's as easy as 1-2-3.
STEP 1: Have your child lie down on his back and close his eyes.
STEP 2: Place the prescribed number of drops in the inside corner of the eye closest to the nose (see photo).
STEP 3: Have your child blink his eyes. He may be scared, but will eventually blink. Make sure your child remains lying flat so the drops don't roll down his face and miss the eye.
