Crafts  :   Thanksgiving Placeholders

These cute edible turkey placeholders are an oldie but a goodie that I just had to share.  If you don't want to use them as placeholders you can simply serve them as a Thanksgiving treat for the kids.  Plus, they are so easy to make, you can have your older kids make them while you are busy getting your feast together.

Happy turkey day!

SUPPLIES
Graham crackers broken in half
Oreo cookies
Candy corn
Chocolate Frosting (I just use the pre-made stuff)
Rainbow goldfish (I only used the red ones)

INSTRUCTIONS

Stick the pointed end of the candy between the two sides of the Oreo cookie.  I used 5 pieces of candy corn.  Sometimes the cookie cracks but you can still use them.

Put a little chocolate frosting on one edge of the red goldfish.  Stick this on, tail down, on the top portion of the Oreo cookie.

Put a generous dollop of chocolate frosting in the center of half a graham cracker.

Stick the decorated Oreo cookie onto the frosting so it stands upright.
