When you are out to dinner with your family, how many times do you have to search under the table for a roll-away crayon? If you are like me it's at least 5 times a meal, and I'm not really thrilled about me or my kids reaching around under the table touching who knows what.
My solution? Use an extra bread plate to hold the kids' crayons, and the lip of the dish will keep them from rolling away. This little trick will not only keep your drawing instruments at finger's reach, but help avoid restaurant outbursts when your little one loses her blue crayon.
Simple? Yes, but those are always the best tips.
