Kids  :   Dressed To A Tee

These days it seems that babies have the ability to express their feelings and preferences even before they can speak?  Well not exactly, but parents across the nation have taken the opportunity to convey what they imagine their child is thinking through messages displayed front and center on their clothing.

Whether you want to make a political statement, predict you child's future or express your sentiments about someone dear to us, there's a t-shirt out there that will do just that.

We've found some very cute and clever baby tees in our recent trade show travels, and have taken the liberty of compiling a list of some of our favorites to pass along to you.

Crib Rock Couture
Remember Jack and Jill, and The Three Blind Mice from your own childhood?  Well, the folks at Crib Rock Couture have designed a line of t-shirts which have become very popular among the celebrity crowd.  They mix those favorite nursery rhymes with a bit of rock and roll and the results bring on a nostalgic feel as Little Miss Muffet, for one, takes on a whole new persona.

Verymeri
verymeri has produced a line of t-shirts for kids by kids.  Each of these simple designs was actually created by a child and some of the proceeds from the sale of each t-shirt goes to a non-profit organization which provides theraputic art programs for at-risk children and their families.  We like that!

Star Allergy Alerts
Here's a great new idea!  These bright, colorful kids tees from Star Allergy Alerts were designed with a specific purpose in mind: to send a clear message about allergies, which can be life threatening for some children.  "No peanuts for me" or "I'm allergic to milk", along with whimsical graphics sends the message to everyone who may come in contact with your child and will have them thinking twice before offering a well-intended, but potentially dangerous, treat.

Trendy Tadpole
With mostly unisex designs the t-shirts from Trendy Tadpole have unique designs and they use t-shirts from American Apparel Co., which are guaranteed to be sweat-shop free.  Reasonably priced and available in various colors and styles, these high quality silk screened tees have a retro feel, and a portion of all proceeds go to P.E.T.A. (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

Ellabee Baby
Simple, funny tees without that edge are sometimes just what you're looking for.  Ellabee Baby has come up with just the thing.  Crisp, adorable graphics with cute sayings are sure to elicit a smile and make these adorable tees a great addition to your child's wardrobe or a perfect baby gift.

Kitsel
The whimsical and colorful tees from kitsel are all 100% soft cotton and were created to spice up the selection of tees available through most retailers.  The sayings are all familiar...but have a new twist.  One of our favorites..."where's da potty at?"
