This easy to make calendar is great for kids of all ages. Use it as a reminder for older kids, and a lesson in the days of the week for your toddlers. You can use one calendar for the whole family, or make separate ones for each child.

• Use the following template to personalize a calendar for your family. Just click the link below to download a copy in MS Word format. Once you have downloaded the form, just replace all words in blue with your personal information. Finally print the calendar onto one White Printable Magnet Sheet (available at your local office supply store or using the link to the right).

CALENDAR TEMPLATE

• Make a list of your family activities with your child.



• Look through your digital pictures together and find those that show activities in your family schedule. For example a picture of your child playing soccer, or a picture of the piano, or your child dressed up in her ballet leotard. Have your child take any extra pictures needed.



• Print the pictures onto the remaining magnetic sheets. The pictures need to be small enough to fit on the calendar, so make sure to print them in a small size, printing 4 or more pictures per page.



• After the pictures are printed, have your child cut out the pictures.



• Your child is now ready to assemble the calendar. Stick the template onto the refrigerator or other metal surface (keep away from the computer). Now stick your activity pictures onto the appropriate day.

You can also make a family job chart using the following template. Place a picture of each child in the left hand column and then place the jobs in the appropriate day columns.
