It happens all the time. I run into old friends or meet someone new at a party and they invariably ask to see pictures of our kids... and I've come up dry. Yes I know I should have some pictures with me, but my wallet is too jammed to get those plastic accordian picture holders in and out.
Well I found a perfect solution at a trade show I recently attended -- it's called the Zoom Album. The Zoom Album is a simple do-it-yourself kit that produces a mini photo book which you can carry in your purse.
Each kit comes with software** and materials to make 3 books which, after printing out your pictures on the provided photo paper, take only minutes to create. About the size of a Post-it®, these small books house up to 12 photos for on the go viewing.
Zoom Albums are perfect for keeping your child occupied on car and stoller rides. Plus, you can personalize each book just for them by adding text to the photos. (click here for a great example). Zoom Albums also make great "brag books" for Grandparents.
The ability to add text to any page creates endless possiblilites for these books. Some ideas we had were to make a photo calendar book, a photo phone book with a list of important phone numbers, or a photo birthday book listing birthdates of friends and family for easy reference while shopping. This information, interspersed with pics of your family, makes the Zoom Album a handy tool while you are on the go.
I love having my Zoom Albums with me when I'm traveling for business. There is nothing like a quick peek at the smiling faces of your kids to get you through the day.
With the Zoom Album, the next time someone asks to see pictures of your kids you can proudly reply "I'm so glad you asked..."
