How many birthday parties can one attend in the course of a school year? I'm sure you'll agree with me that answer is way too many? While I'm usually pretty good about getting gifts ahead of time and even have a few stocked away in the closet just in case (check out Birthday Club for gift recommendations by age) , I'm always running around at the last minute trying to wrap the gift and find an appropriate card.
How can you avoid this last minute stress inducing wrap? First, instead of wrapping your presents, bag them up. Simply head over to your nearest Target or arts and crafts store and buy some colorful paper handle bags in assorted sizes. The value pack will be your best deal, and don't forget a package of assorted tissue paper for a pretty contrast in color.
To identify your gift as your child's, why not try birthday gift labels. You can purchase them at a local stationery store, but why not print your own. It's so easy and cost effective. When your kid is on the birthday party circuit - that would be from age 3-10 - you run out of those little stickers in a hurry and they can be expensive.
To use our Birthday Gift Sticker template, simply download the MS Word template shown below by clicking on the link. Once downloaded, open the file and then personalize your stickers by replacing our sample name with that of your child. Save your file and then print them out on shipping labels you can purchase at your local office supply store (we used Avery, Style 5164).
